Mr. Balasaheb Salave is the Founder and President of Loknete Dr. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil Samajik Sanstha, a Pune-based nonprofit organization established in 2021. A socially driven leader and grassroots changemaker, Mr. Salave was deeply moved by the struggles of underprivileged families during the COVID-19 pandemic. What began as an urgent response to a crisis has evolved into a sustained mission to build a just, inclusive, and dignified life for marginalized children, women, and youth.
With a vision rooted in compassion and community resilience, Mr. Salave founded the organization in honor of Loknete Dr. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil, a visionary who revolutionized rural development and education in Maharashtra. Inspired by this legacy, Mr. Salave has committed himself to empower the most vulnerable sections of society through education support, women’s empowerment, youth livelihood training, and community development.
Under his leadership, the Organisation has grown into a dynamic platform that transforms challenges into opportunities. His hands-on approach, dedication to social justice, and unwavering belief in collective change continue to guide the organization’s efforts to create sustainable impact across urban slums and rural areas alike.
